The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Yeti’s new Roadie 15 has arrived as the firm’s cheapest cooler in its range.

Priced at £175, it’s got the same robust construction as the rest of Yeti’s Roadie range but is smaller, lighter and more easily transported.

As the name suggests, it’s got a 15-litre capacity which is enough space for 22 cans of drink with some room for ice leftover and it’s even able to accommodate wine bottles stacked horizontally.

It’s equipped with a heavy-duty strap to help make carrying a breeze while Yeti’s ‘Lipgrip’ handles provide a confidence-inspiring position to hold the cooler. Underneath, there’s a non-slip finish to stop the cooler from sliding about while an integrated drain plug is ideal for getting rid of melted ice water when you’re packing up.

The Roadie 15 also incorporates a quicklatch system so that it can be opened with one hand and thanks to a clever gasket system, it’s able to keep hot food hot and cold food cold whenever you need it. There are tie-down slots which allow you to tether the cooler more securely when you’ve got it loaded into a car or boat, too.

The next-largest cooler in the Roadie range is the 24, bringing enough storage capacity to hold 33 beer cans or 33lbs of ice. However, it bumps the price up considerably to £225.

The new Yeti Roadie 15 can be ordered via the Yeti website now and it’s available in one of six colours ranging from eye-catching Wild Vine Red to a futuristic plain white shade.
