Merrell 1TRL and Dime have created a partnership that has already produced a new shoe – the Moc Speed Streak.
Montreal-based Dime has its roots in skateboarding, though it has been pushed into the upper ends of design and fashion, albeit with a ‘broad, relatable appeal’.

In collaboration with Merrell 1TRL and its outdoor-focused approach, Dime has produced the new Moc Speed Streak that blends together high-end touches with technical materials and design.
Incorporating a coated leather and breathable mesh upper, the Moc Speed Streak brings a slip-on design while a neoprene stretch collar makes putting these shoes on and taking them off again as easy as can be. You’ll also find a 100 per cent recycled heel pull tab to give an even more user-friendly edge to these shoes. The patent leather elements help to this Moc a more upmarket, evening-friendly approach than other models within the range.

Meanwhile, the footbed cover gains a 50 per cent recycled mesh construction with a Cleansport NXT finish to ensure that nasty smells are controlled. To help boost comfort the Moc Speed Streaks have a removable EVA foam footbed while Merrell’s Air Cushion is incorporated into the heel to help the shoe absorb impacts and create a more cushioned feel overall. This is then coupled with a rubber outsole for good traction and extra ruggedness.
You’ll find the new Moc Speed Streak available via Dime already, or through Merrell 1TRL and global retailers from Saturday, November 23. They’re priced at £109, too.
