Peak Performance has kicked off a free-of-charge service to help Londoners get mountain-ready this ski season.
Running from December to February, the service will see a dedicated technician arrive at any home within the capital to wax, edge and P-Tex fix any ski or snowboard completely free of charge.
Peak Performance representatives will arrive on a clean-running electric vehicle with interested parties able to check out available booking slots via a dedicated page. The complimentary ski service will be running two days a week, with slots available between 4pm and 10pm midweek, or 10am to 5pm on Sunday.

It follows on from the brand’s opening of a new flagship store in Covent Garden, which saw the Swedish firm transport 7.5 tonnes of snow to the main Piazza and transform the area into a fully urbanised ski slope. Channelling the spirit of a true ski rail jam, the event harked back to a 1995 ‘big air’ that took place in the same location.
The Scandinavian brand’s London flagship has opened as its first UK store, following on from a number of other international locations in spots such as Berlin, Warsaw, Innsbruck and Beijing. Having been founded in 1986, Peak Performance recently shot to stardom as athlete Hedvig Wessel wore its Vertical Pro range to become Freeride World Tour Champion 2024. It was Wessel’s maiden win, too, having come runner-up in a number of previous events.
