Merrell 1TRL is bringing a variety of new styles to the scene as it launches its spring summer collection.
Billed as the ‘design-led’ counterpart to the well-known outdoor brand, Merrell 1TRL has typically taken the adventure brand’s key pieces and transformed them with more style-conscious touches.

It’s a similar story for the new collection. Things kick off with the low-profile Relay Web 1TRL, which has a low-slung design and more than a hint of racing shoe about it. It’s finished in full grain leather for a more upmarket finish, as well as suede overlays.
You’ve also got the Jungle Trek Mule 1TRL, which is a development of the Jungle Moc – a Merrell staple. With a clog-like design, the Jungle Trek Mule gets a two-tone torn camo design and an 80 per cent recycled neoprene collar for extra comfort.

Then there’s the Moab 2 Remix, with its moulded suede leather design and ‘full-grain accenting’. The iconic shoe gets a full Vibram sole for extra traction when it’s slippery out, and a rugged toe box to help deflect impacts from rocks and boulders. Contrast elements help to brighten up the dark suede material.
A number of new colourways have also been introduced, including the MTL Adapt Matryx and Skyfire 2 getting ‘Umber’ and ‘Comet’ colour schemes to help freshen things up.
The new collection will be available online from tomorrow (February 12) and will soon filter through to physical stockists before long, too.
