The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Rab and Gramicci have worked together to produce a new limited-edition clothing series.

The two well-known outdoor brands have collaborated to ‘honour the pioneering spirit of 1980s climbing’ with a new collection of jackets, legwear and accessories which will be available in selected retailers from November 6 for a limited period only.

There are plenty of signature logos used across the collection

While Rab might have its foundations outside Sheffield, UK and Grammici with its home base in Yosemite, USA, the two have forged a cross-Atlantic partnership to develop a collection which brings together mountain expertise and climbing counterculture.

You’ve got the Rab & Gramicci pants, for instance, which pay tribute to Gramicci’s classic original but are crafted with a fast-drying fabric, while the Kinder smock has an upgrade with lightweight 800FP down and Pertex Quantum pro fabric, while retaining its 1980s look.

There’s the Neutrino Pro Hoody, too, which again has 800FP down and a water-resistant fabric as well as a hood which can accommodate a helmet. The Argon pants, meanwhile, come with a down filling to help keep things as cosy as possible when the temperatures fall.

Then there’s the 30-litre kitbag which could prove ideal for those long-distance adventures and it features both Rab and Gramicci’s signature logos in a cool grey and black colourway. We’re big fans of the Crimp LS t-shirt, too, which is made from a Tencel fabric for cotton-like comfort and incorporates both Rab and Gramicci’s prints. Of course, what collection would be complete without a beanie, too, which is crafted from 100 per cent recycled polyester.

The new Rab and Gramicci collection launches online today and will feature in selected retailers for a limited period only – so get in quick.
