The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Côte&ciel has introduced its spring-summer 2025 collection with a series of new pieces designed to showcase the brand’s forward direction.

Called Mimicry, the new collection is based around the idea of transformation and it’s why you’ll find a number of new pieces included in the line-up that change from what they initially look like.

Take the Po bag, for instance. It’s got a crossbody design that looks pretty conventional at first glance but, with a quick change, can be transformed into a wearable vest. Priced at €285 (around £236), the Po has a range of hidden pockets and even D-ring clips for attaching items. A water-repellent finish should help to keep the worst of the weather at bay, too.

Then there’s the Vikos, which can be adapted from a standard spherical bag into a small duffel. Côte&ciel say that many of these pieces take inspiration from nature, too, like a butterfly evolving from its caterpillar roots. With a four-litre capacity, it’s good for those smaller trips out and is priced at €190, or around £157.

There is also the Orne, which has already been a core part of the brand’s range. However now, it features a mesh exterior that can be pulled out and used to cover the bag itself. Côte&ciel says this function is ‘reminiscent of the overgrown textures of nature’.

The Parisian brand says that the bags are playing a key role in its ‘original, evolving vision’ with designs that are ‘playful’ yet completely functional. You’ll still find some of Côte&ciel key favourites, too, such as the Isar and Isarau included in the collection, but updated with new colourways. It’s all available via the brand’s website now.
