You’ll have probably seen quite a lot of Yeti’s drinkware range. In a time when everyone likes to stay hydrated on the move, Yeti has weighed in with some heavy-duty bottles, mugs and flasks that can keep things cold when they need to be cold, or hot when they need to be hot.
But if you’re considering buying a Yeti product, what should you be focusing on? Here, we’re taking a look through the current Yeti drinkware range to see which one might be the best fit for you.
What is the Yeti drinkware range made from?

Shunning the trend for thinner metals, the Yeti range uses heavy-duty kitchen-grade steel that is more resistant to impact and dings. We’ve put several to the test and even greater drops and falls haven’t dented the Yeti’s outer skin.
They’re also rust resistant while inside you’ll find a double wall vacuum design to help maintain a steady temperature for your drinks for longer.
Can you bung them through the dishwasher?
Yeti’s range is labelled as dishwasher safe, so you can stick them through at the end of the day without worry. In our experience, the Yeti drinkwear range doesn’t show any issues with being put through the dishwasher day-in, or day-out, though we have found that it’s a good idea to rinse out any mouthpiece sections before use (after they’ve been through the dishwasher) to avoid a slightly soapy taste.
Can they fit in the car?

That depends. For example, the range of mugs isn’t going anywhere near your typical cupholder – they’re too wide and simply don’t fit. The mugs, therefore, are better for when you’re camping or even enjoying a drink at home.
However, the range of tumblers is better in this regard with most of the line-up fitting in a standard cupholder. Some of the Rambler bottles fit into a cupholder too, so there definitely are some options if you want to take your Yeti on the move.
What’s the biggest bottle you can get?

If you’ve got a need for outright capacity, then there’s an option in the Rambler bottle range. In fact, at the very top sits a 1.9 litre bottle which is great for longer hikes or even days spent at camp.
You’ve also got the Yeti Rambler Jugs which take things one step larger – with the largest of this range being a huge 3.8-litre container. Dehydration, be gone!
What about the Tumblers?
Handled metal drinkware is definitely in vogue at the moment and there’s an option in the Yeti range for this. You’ve got the Tumbler line-up, which includes two travel mug sizes. They’ve got a capacity of up to 887ml, but they’ve also got a welded handle which is great for drinking on the move. Plus, they taper down to a slim bottom so they’re ideal for use in the car as they fit directly into cupholders.
While the largest Ramblers range up to £40, the smallest one – which is a 296ml capacity – clocks in at a very reasonable £20. You’ve got plenty of colours to choose from too.
What are MagSlider lids?
The MagSlider lids work with Mugs, Tumblers and Lowballs, varying in size to fit each cup. They’ve got a magnet-powered sliding mechanism, which itself can be removed to make things easier when it comes to cleaning.
However, the MagSlider lid doesn’t then make any drinkware leakproof, it just helps to stop accidental spills overall. It also can’t be used with Rambler Bottles or Jugs.
