Topologie and Nottinghamshire-based clothing brand Universal Works have collaborated on a new collection of clothing.
Launching today (October 8), the new collection includes a variety of different items which take influence from 1970s climbing culture. Highlights include checked shirts and relaxed-style rugby tops, but upgraded with more modern materials and features.

Topologie’s The Wares system lies at the heart of the collection, introducing bags, ropes, loops and puffer straps which can all be used interchangeably, allowing you to tailor them to your desired need or use. There’s also a stylish chalk bag with both Universale Works and Topologie branding on the outside.

You’ll find a range of classic-style stitched patches used across the collection, introducing an adventure-led style which gives each piece the look of a well-loved and well-worn item. The series of soft bags incorporates both an old-school canvas material as well as Topologie’s signature climbing ropes used for the handles and straps.
There’s not much of a guide on prices as yet, but you’ll be able to find the Topologie Wares System bags and straps available at the Universal Works London Soho store, selected Topologie stores and via Topologie’s website. Clothing, meanwhile, will be available to buy at Universal Work’s Soho site, its website and selected Topologie stores.
