GoPro has launched a trio of new products as it looks to strengthen its model range even further.

Kickin’ things off is the Max2. Arriving as the next generation of the brand’s 360-degree camera, the Max2 films in full 10-bit colour and 8K, while offering ‘twist-and-go’ replaceable lesnes made from water-repelling optical glass. GoPro says that ‘no tools’ are required to make the swap, either. In total, the Max2 features six microphones to help record surround sound with wind noise reduction for crackle-free audio.
Alongside high-definition video, the Max2 can also manage 29 megapixel 360-degree photos, allowing users to easily crop into an image whenever they need to. Sixteen new mounts and accessories help when attaching the camera to a variety of surfaces, while an aerodynamic design ensures that the Max2 doesn’t take up too make space wherever it has been placed. It’s also got built-in GPS as standard.

Priced from £449.99, the Max2 will go on sale from September 30.
Up next is the Lit Hero, a compact lifestyle camera with a built-in light. Able to capture 4K video at 60 frames per second, the Lit Hero features a rugged design to help it fend off drops and scrapes, while the built-in light – GoPro says – provides ‘retro vibes’ to the look and feel of photos and videos.
Priced at £239 and available from October 21, the Lit Hero also gets GoPro’s Enduro battery which, it says, can deliver up to 100 minutes of recording at the highest video setting on a single charge.
Finally, there’s the Fluid Pro AI. It’s an AI subject tracking gimbal which can be used with GoPro’s cameras, as well as smartphones and point-and-shoot cameras with a weight of up to 400g. A handy forward or rear-facing AI subject tracker can be used to lock onto a person’s face or body, tracking their movement. The Fluid Pro AI can also bring up to 18 hours of runtime, and can even double as an external power bank to help top up other devices.
Priced at £179.99, the Fluid Pro AI will go on sale on October 21.
