Helinox is looking to add some extra fun to your next adventure with its Play series of outdoor games. 

Known for its lightweight outdoor equipment – including chairs and tables – Helinox has now turned its attention to making things even more fun when you’ve stopped for a break. 

Inspired by traditional Korean boardgams, the YutNori, HeliDisc, StingTree and HeliDrop games are all crafted from rugged materials that will ensure they’re good to go no matter how tough the conditions you’ve been travelling through have been. However, Helinox says that they’re just as suited to the beach or park as they are for your camping adventures. 

HeliDisc, for instance, uses flying discs to knock an opponent’s target off their tyre – though Helinox says that these cans can be easily swapped out for beer cans to create an off-the-wall drinking game. 

YutNori is a Korean game of strategy where players race and chase their opponents back to a starting point on a brightly coloured board. 

StingTree, meanwhile, brings an alternative look at shuffleboard where players fling rings down a rope to collect points and push the competition off. 

HeliDrop is a ‘bean bag showdown’ where players use accuracy and skill to score points. Helinox also says that this lightweight game can be used with or without its frame, allowing greater flexibility on where and when you play. 

All four games are set to go live on the Helinox website from April 3, just in time for the Bank Holiday here in the UK.
