The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Peak Performance has launched a brand new collection of eye-catching ‘Petroglyph’ pieces, drawing inspiration from cave and trail art.

Launched this February, the collection introduces a brand new design which takes on board the ‘freedom and peacefulness of the mountain’.

Things kick off with a Petroglyph version of the Peak Performance Helium Utility Down Hood Jacket. Priced at £295 it’s a new interpretation of one of the brand’s core heat-boosting items, bringing a lightweight packable construction with 90/10 down insulation and a quilted pattern. The Helium Utility Graphic Down Hood jacket is available in both men’s and women’s styles.

The Utility is part of the wider Helium collection which has been a mainstay of the Peak Performance line-up for decades. It gets the same down construction as the regular Helium but benefits from additional pockets and reinforced zips.

There’s also a retro-style Graphic Pile Jacket and Graphic Pile Vest – £160 and £140 respectively – with both providing plenty of warmth thanks to a heavy fleece pile design. Like others in the collection, both of these items get the head-turning print applied across with contrast Peak Performance lettering applied to the front.

Peak Performance says that the petroglyph icons are ‘fully interpretable’ – so you can read into them what you’d like. They’re all available to purchase via the Peak Performance website now.
