Parisian accessory specialists Côte&ciel has collaborated with Australian cycling specialists MAAP to create a trio of cycle-focused packs.
The trio ‘unites both brands signature aesthetics and advanced technical product knowledge’ and has been designed in order to make cycling – and transporting equipment when you’re on two wheels – a little bit easier.

Things kick off with the Saru daypack which incorporates three external pockets and an additional padded internal storage area capable of storing devices of up to 16 inches in size. Plus, it’s made with water-resistant fabrics to help fend off wet weather and the laminated zippers aim to keep your gear as dry as can be.
The series then moves on to the Isarau cross-body messenger-style bag which comes with a 14.5-litre capacity and a flexible design which allows it to be worn across the body, chest, back or waist so you should be able to tailor it to the style of riding that you’re doing. Plus, a padded internal pocket provides enough space for a 14-inch laptop or tablet.
Finally, there’s the lightweight Sling Bag which houses a compact 2.4 litres of storage capacity. Billed by both brands as an ‘ultra-lightweight way of keeping your essentials secure as you move’ it has a variety of pockets accessed via zippers. Its small capacity means it could prove useful for items such as Allen keys, spare tubes or even a compact pump.

Available from Côte&ciel, MAAP and ‘selected retailers’ the three packs are available in an understated black colour or MAAP’s ‘Uniform Blue’ shade which adds some extra excitement.
Prices start from £125 for the compact Sling Bag, rising to £190 for the Isaru messenger and topping out at £240 for the Saru daypack.
