Canyon has breathed new life into its Neuron mountain bike with some fresh components and updated colourways.
It continues to be offered in both aluminium and carbon fibre frames and while the Neuron incorporates the same geometry as the 2023 model – as well as 130mm of front travel and 130mm at the rear – Canyon has included some new components to make its bike even more capable.

Top-spec Neuron CF LTD bikes now benefit from a Fox 34 140mm front fork which incorporates a GripX2 damper for even more support during those bigger impacts. With SRAM’s Eagle AXS wireless shifting and new DT Swiss wheels, the CF LTD should be even quicker than before. Priced from £5,849, it’s now available in a high-gloss grey colourway.
Priced at £4,649 the Neuron CF 9 also gets a Fox 34 front fork, alongside SRAM’S XO Eagle wireless shifting and four-piston brakes, while the CF 8 switches from Shimano XT to SRAM’s GX AXS Eagle wireless setup and code bronze stealth brakes. Up front, there’s a RockShox Pike Select+ fork and it all comes in at £3,749.

The CF 7 – priced at £2,899 – is the most affordable entry point into carbon fibre Neuron ownership, but we’re big fans of the Pale Lavender colour that it’s available in. Switch to the aluminium models in the Neuron AL 6 and AL 5 and you’ll get a new Fox 34 Rhytymn front fork as well as a Deore shifting setup for the 6, or Shimano’s CUES drivetrain on the 5.
You’ll pay £2,899 and £1,899 for the Neuron AL 6 and AL 5 respectively.
