Outdoor equipment creator Helinox has marked its first entry into Europe with a special collection.

The brand, which has just opened its Helinox Create Centre Paris – or HCC Paris – hasn’t previously had a site in Europe, with locations in Seoul and Busan, South Korea, and Tokyo, Japan coming before its unveiling. 

Located at 10 Rue du Perche, 75003, the new store in housed within a historic building that has retained many of its classic design features which visitors will be able to view as they tour the site. 

Helinox says that over the coming months, the store will ‘operate like a gallery’ with a number of curated collections showcasing new items to those who visit. It’ll also be hosting a number of ‘artistic and cultural’ events which reflect the local area.

Marais district of Paris. We look forward to introducing Helinox’s diverse products and sharing our brand’s story with Parisians, French consumers, and all visitors to Paris.”

To celebrate the opening, Helinox has created a new collection of furniture and accessories. Available from Friday, June 21 in its worldwide locations, the pieces have come through a collaboration with Fragment Design by Japanese creator Hiroshi Fujiwara. It’s defined by dark navy and black shades, applied to items such as the Sunset Chair, Side Table and Helinox’s Umbrella. Prices start from £55.95 for a special-edition side storage table, rising to £519 for a Fragment Design-infused cot.
