Looking for a G-Shock Rangeman with even more functionality and features? The new GPR-H1000 could be the right watch for you.
Joining the rest of the Rangeman series – which is focused on delivering rugged performance for survival situations – the new GPR-H1000 comes equipped with an optical heart rate monitor, an accelerometer that can track activities such as steps and a gyroscope to ensure accurate compass calibration for when you’re off the beaten track.

That GPS functionality adds in location data and when combined with the other features means this watch can detect the wearer’s body movement and even environmental changes. Users can check their heart rate, blood oxygen level and direction of travel, even when the conditions are closing in around.
Available in black and eye-catching yellow colours, the new GPR-H1000 includes functions that can help across a variety of activities, including running, walking, biking and open water swimming, as well as conventional gym workouts and even interval training.

Priced at £450, the GPR-H1000 uses a soft urethane band for top-notch comfort, while the bio-based resin used across the watch helps to lessen the overall environmental impact.
Casio – which makes the G-Shock range of toughened watches – says that the new GPR-H1000 is designed to ‘perform in the harshest natural environments’ and bring ‘optimal use by rangers and other professionals operating in the harvest land conditions’. However, that’s not to say that it won’t be up to the challenge of a sprint around the local park, too.
The new G-Shock GPR-H1000 is due to launch on January 19.
