Specialized has reduced the price of a variety of its e-bikes to help make the entry into battery-assisted cycling cheaper. 

The Tero 3, for example, has been cut from £2,500 to £1,999, bringing a significant saving to the go-anywhere e-bike. As well as a full electric motor and 530Wh battery, the Tero 3 also features 29-inch wheels, 110mm of front suspension travel and full SRAM disc brakes. It’s also got an integrated lock that can disable the motor – or you can remove the battery entirely to make things even harder for would-be thieves. 

The Como 3 and Como 3IGH have both been reduced – from £2,500 to £1,999 and £3,000 to £2,400, respectively – with this step-through e-bike bringing a more relaxed take on e-biking through its upright riding position and commuter-friendly squashy tyres. The e-motor will assist at speeds of up to 15.5mph, too. It also comes equipped with full mudguards, LED front and rear lights and a rear rack with a 27kg capacity. 

Finally, there’s the Levo Base Carbon which has been brought down from £5,500 to £3,999. This lightweight full-suspension model gets plenty of high-end touches including a Praxis Forged crankset, a full SRAM SL SX Eagle gearing setup and a Rockshox 35 Silver front fork. SRAM Guide brakes take care of bringing the whole thing to a stop, too.
