Vans has added a new dimension to its Old Skool with a series of Engineered Knit designs. 

Available in two colourways – Geo Check Bordeaux and Cheetah Dried Kelp – the Engineered Knit Old Skool brings together a more heritage-inspired feel but with all of the modern features that you’d expect from these shoes. 

Priced at £100, the Old Skool’s engineered knit design should result in a comfortable fit overall, while a padded collar aims to boost that luxury feel further. There’s a Sola Foam insole – made from 30 per cent bio-based material – for extra cushioning while underneath, you’ve got the classic waffle outsole bringing high levels of grip. 

There’s a knitted interpretation of the Vans Sidestripe badging, too. The two colourways bring different knitted patterns, too, with the Geo Check Bordeaux utilising a checkerboard pattern and the Cheetah Dried Kelp using a leopard-inspired design instead. Both can be optioned in a trio of colours, too, ranging from burgundy to green. There is a series of coloured laces to accompany each design as well.
