The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Timex and Finisterre have announced a new collaboration with the pair delivering a brand-new timepiece together – the Tide Watch.

Priced at £210, the new timepiece comes in an eye-catching navy and cyan colour combination, with the whole watch being crafted from recycled materials. The strap, in particular, is made from recycled marine waste.

Waterproof to 200 metres, the Tide Watch gets a quartz movement with both a tide cycle and date feature, with high-vis ‘Super-LumiNova’ accents on the hands and hour markets. Coupled with the stainless steel bezel, it aims to give the Tide Watch good strength levels and excellent visibility that’ll make it handy for all ocean-going wearers.

The tide tracking function allows the user to see a time being counted down to each high and low tide, making it ideal for those who need to know what situation the tides are in.

Finisterre and Timex put the dimensions of the Tide Watch at 41mm diameter for the case, 12mm for height and 20mm lug width, putting it on the chunkier end. Finsterre and Timex state that the dial must be fully locked down at all times to ensure that the watch is kept as waterproof as possible.

Limited to just 500 units, each watch will be numbered to help the owner track their watch’s place in the build.

The new Timex and Finisterre Tide Watch is available to order now via the Finisterre website now. With its limited nature, we don’t expect these watches to hang around for long.
