H&M Move has entered into the competitive skiwear segment yet again with a new collection designed primarily for use on the slopes.
Coming in a two-part release in October and December this year, the new set of pieces follows on from the brand’s winter wear set introduced back in 2023. With a range of multipurpose items, that series followed a functional thread without pushing prices too high.

It’s a similar ethos which is followed with this new collection. Blending ‘mountain tech’ with ‘modern style’ the new ski range now incorporates Recco reflector technology, which helps to make wearers more visible to search and rescue teams. However, this is backed up by H&M Move’s clever StormMove and ThermoMove technologies which bring windproof and heat-retaining properties respectively.
Mfon Boman, H&M Move’s outdoor product manager, said: “With this collection, we’ve combined Scandinavian aesthetics with technical materials that we’ve designed for performance in snow sports
“It hits the sweet spot between fashion and functionality thanks to a neutral colour scheme incorporated into new silhouettes, and features such as snow gaiters, goggle wipes, and ski pass pockets, on top of the addition of Recco technology.”

Highlights of the latest drop – which features pieces for men, women and juniors – include two- and three-layer shell jackets, fitted ski trousers and non-quilted puffer jackets. Plus, 100 per cent Merino wool base layers should help fend off the worst of the cold.
You’ll be able to check out the first part of the collection when it drops on the H&M website on October 31, followed by the second instalment on December 9. Prices are set to start at £37.99, too, though expect these to rise with more technical pieces.
