The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Nothing has unveiled a special edition version of its already eye-catching 2a smartphone.

The Phone (2a) Special Edition ‘celebrates primary colours’ and marks the first time that all three colours that fit within the brand’s identity have been used in one of its devices.

Red is featured in the right earbud of Nothing audio products, while yellow has been in the new Ear (a). Blue was recently introduced in the Phone (2a) Blue, but never have all three shades been integrated into one Nothing product.

Priced at £349 for a 12RAM and 256GB model, the special edition smartphone is available in ‘limited quantities’ via the Nothing website or via a unique drop at the brand’s store in Soho, London. Interested buyers should head to the retailer site on Saturday, June 1 from 11am, where the special-edition models will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis.

Adam, design director at Nothing, said: “We are very happy to unveil Phone (2a) Special Edition. The first product to explore our palette of the primary colours; red, blue and yellow. Its overall aesthetic references some of our design heroes from the past, whilst creating a new expression for a smartphone. Elevating a functional device into a striking piece of art.”

The Nothing 2a features a 32-megapixel front camera backed up by dual 50-megapixel main and ultra-wide cameras on the back. Up front, there’s a 120Hz 10-bit flexible AMOLED display while Nothing’s famous Glyph interface with its 15 separate functions can be used to indicate a variety of notifications.
