The very best adventure gear taken to the most amazing of places

Sportswear brand Admiral has released a new collection of clothing which harks back to the heyday of 80s football fan culture.

‘The Team Dressers’ sees the classic sportswear creator channel ‘the nostalgic element of sports’ as its launches this new collection during the run-up to the Euro 2024 competition. Admiral has supplied a number of classic kits to a number of top-tier squads, including West Ham, Coventry and Manchester United.

It has also crafted England’s team kit in the 80s, which featured a striking blue-and-red print and the iconic three lions logo. At the time, it was worn by stars like Kevin Keegan and Glenn Hoddle.

You’ll find a similar level of cool, understated designs in this latest collection which incorporates a number of pieces such as sweaters and training tops. Standard Bardon t-shirts – which feature the famous Admiral logo on the back – come in at a finance-friendly £30, too, so you don’t need to fork out a fortune to get a slice of this retro cool.

Admiral says that this new collection ‘plays on the nostalgic element of sports, tapping into core memories of cold weekends spent among friends before a game’. While it’ll still look great if you’re planning on a five-aside soon, we’re sure that this latest collection will make just as much of an impact if you’re watching a game at home.

‘The Team Dressers’ collection is available now, either via Admiral’s website or in select stores.
