Gozney has added to its stable of pizza ovens with a new gas cooker – the Arc.
Available in standard and XL versions – with the former managing 14-inch pizzas and the latter 16-inch pies – the Arc uses a new lateral gas burner, making it ‘easier than ever’ to create home pizzas to a high standard. The side burner, according to Gozney, gives better control over temperature while a built-in digital thermometer allows you to quickly and easily check the heat of the oven.

The Arc develops a flame which is like the one you’d find in a wood-fired pizza, while high levels of insulation and a 20mm thick stone floor ensure that the oven distributes and retains heat efficiently. In fact, Gozney says that the Arc can crank up to temperatures of 500 degrees, resulting in a pizza cook time of just 60 seconds in some cases. The stone floor can be removed, cleaned and replaced if required, too.
It’s also available with a booster which makes sure that the oven is at the right height for any area, while a portable rolling stand allows you to get it into position easily wherever you’re cooking.

Tom Gozney, founder of Gozney, said: “We wanted to make it easier than ever before to create epic pizza at home. The Arc distills the pro-grade performance and design principles of our restaurant range into a compact, easy-to-use oven that everyone can enjoy regardless of their skill level or the size of their outdoor space.”
Priced at £599 for the standard Arc or £699 for the larger XL, the new oven will go on sale from Wednesday, March 6 at the Gozney website or via selected retailers. If you want to get in even earlier, however, you can register your interest via the Gozney site.
